Evolution is a special process that makes a unit more powerful. Not all units in the game can be evolved, however; and those that are able to undergo the process must meet the following requirements:
- The unit must be shiny and at maximum level
- The user must have the necessary materials for the evolution.
While all evolved units are naturally more powerful than their regular counterparts, it should be noted that all evolved units also have access to a unique sixth upgrade. This makes many evolved units the best choice for DPS.
Pros & Cons
There are many more pros to evolution than there are cons. In fact, it is always recommended to evolve a unit when given the chance, with the exception of saving materials for stronger evolutions.

- Often larger AoE
- Access to a powerful sixth upgrade
- May come with a new or stronger ability
- Better DPS overall

- More expensive
- Higher cooldown
- Getting the necessary materials and level is very time consuming
How to Evolve
To evolve a unit, interact with the NPC Urahara, who is located left of the exit to the dungeon. Click the square area with the plus mark inside of it, and you will be able to choose which unit you want to upgrade. Finally, click the big blue "Evolve" button. If you meet the requirements, your unit will evolve.
